61. Book Review
"Surely You're Joking Mr Feynman!"
I'm half way thru with the book and it's the 17th of March. Not bad, I'm actually gonna make a book a month. :) Anyway, a few lines from the book caught my attention so far :)
"People often think I'm a faker, but i'm usually honest, in a certain way - in such a way that often nobody believes me!"
He goes on with a few situations which shows what he means. Interesting. :)
"The liberty at social occassions - the problem of having to fake and lie in order to be polite, and does this perpetual game of faking in social situations lead to the destruction of the moral fiber of society"
"Simple" things which I didn't even bother to think about. Well, one has to draw his own conclusions as he didn't elaborate on this topic. It would be interesting to see his point of view. I reckon he thinks it the statement is true (oooooo, first i pretend to understand the lay person, now i'm pretending to understand the mind of a genius), otherwise he wouldn't have bothered to mention it.........even though as a passing statement.
