Wee, Me, Chuan Sheng and Seng with my first ever pint
'Twas a long day visiting our suppliers and the expo. So we rewarded ourselves with a good lunch, dinner and a bar run. We had lunch near our supplier's plant. It was really good. It was at a Chinese restaurant and they ordered all the best stuff. Yummy.
We adjourned and visited the Expo and spoke to more suppliers. Dinner was at Marche Movenpick at Suntec. My goodness, another full meal. Filled myself to the brim. After that we walked over to Balaclava. Chuan Sheng introduced us to his friend, Timothy who's a pilot with SQ.
He suggested we go over to another place at Boat Quay. It's called Muddy Murphy's. There, I had my first ever pint of Guiness Draft. It was ok i guess. Not gonna try it again.
Then we went over to another hotel lounge to meet Chuan Sheng's cousin. His cousin suggested that we visit this place called Thai Disco and KTV. We agreed since he is the boss.
We didn't realise what we were getting into
We arrived at the Thai Disco and KTV. We had a culture shock. The moment we walked in, the music was in Thai, the DJ was speaking Thai, the waitress takes orders in Thai and the live band, you guessed it, sings Thai songs. Mini Bangkok right in the heart of Singapore. Wow.
