169. Lost
It's been 4 days since my last blog. Gosh, was a rather quiet weekend if not for a crazy sunday.
For Friday nite, I Went out to Soho to meet up with a bunch of people whom I haven't seen in a while. Among them, Josie, Fuen, Siew Bee, Yoon, Henry and Danny. Surprisingly met a few of my Uni mates there as well. Fun nite.

Here's Raine and Josie having a tummy competition (Josie is pregnant too)
Sat was boring
Sunday started with a laksa lunch and also durian :) the durian place is amazing. From the roadside, it looks like your regular road side stall, but when we took a closer look, he's converted part of the jungle into a mini zoo. He's got 3 ostriches, a few chickens, some parrots and misc birds, a peacock and a peahen and also a pond of huge kois. The price there is also a killer :P not going back there again.

Chuang decided to have a durian party as well so looks like i'll be having durian for dinner too. Heh heh heh. Chuang and Niki came over to pick me up at 5:30ish and we head to Gurney coz they wanted to look at some puppies. They wanna "adopt" one to nuture their parental instincts. Hmmmm. Anyway, I wanted to develope some photos. So we parted ways. I caught up with them at the pet shop and guess what! They've already decided on a PUG (and yes! they have their own website) and will be picking it up on wednesday. They've decided to call it Roger becoz it looks like one. Wat the? I don't want to see their pup if they decide to call it Richard! heh heh.

We proceeded to buy Dominoes pizza and head over to Chuwy's house. It's been a while since I went over to their house d. Wonder if Sophia or Sean still remembers me.

Just when I thot that'll be the end of an eventful day, Wee called and ask if I wanted to go over to Soho with Seng and him. Well, thot what the heck, won't miss a brotherly gathering for anything. Off I went then. Surprisingly some of the Intel gang was there as well.
Dave came over and introduced a few ladies to us, they're his old college mate's daughter (Sabrina) and her friends (Jo & Fiona). They call him Uncle Dave. Never heard people call him that before :D We teased him a little. Turns out that one of the girls (Sabrina) is a pretty decent singer and sings for a living back in UK. So since, Dave owns the place, he turned it into a karaoke nite :D made her sing a couple of songs. We were pleasantly surprised when she sang. She does have a good voice. Played the usual few rounds of pool. I did learn a new party trick. Tying the cherry stem with my tongue. I figured with my super flexible tongue, I shud be able to do it. Voila, I was right. but somehow this is not a thing I wanna do too often :P. One only see girls doing things like this :D Oh well, called it a nite after that.

My cherry stem tying masterpiece :P
Monday was rather slow in the morning, but towards the afternoon, the pace picked up. It was a really bad day as things start piling up. It seems to have a domino effect once a delivery is backlogged. Spent the rest of the day controlling the damage.
