616. An Evening with the Bond girls
Apparently tonite is James Bond nite @ Soho Penthouse. The place was packed! There's an appearance by the Bond girls (we later found out it wasn't the REAL Bond girls), a live band playing and of course dancers. All the servers are dressed up. It seems like everyone I know just decided to show up. It was a riot.

Earlier in the afternoon, finally went to T-Bowl in Queensbay Mall. It's a restaurant with a toilet theme. The tables are fashioned out of kitchen sinks and the seats are basically the thrown. Even the food was served in a mini toilet bowl. The food wasn't too bad, basically very similiar to Kim Gary's menu. And while there, bought myself a nifty Aztech cordless phone from Harvey Norman for RM69. This same model was selling @ Jusco for RM119. What the heck! Good thing I decided to check out Harvey Norman, if not, I'd lost RM50 for nothing.

My Random Thots:
Well, you know the old proverb, "Every cloud has a silver lining". Well, there's this huge commotion about the recent 40% fuel hike, everyone has an opinion about how the government should handle the situation. I too, am feeling the pinch, but heck, I am a closet supporter of the fuel hike. Not only that, I'm happy about the toll charges too. Let me clarify, I noticed that recently traffic on the road has gotten better. If anything, this 40% fuel hike has made the road a much better place for me and it sure as heck reduce the Greenhouse gas emissions. All the tree huggers should be glad. I reckon nowadays, people would think twice about going out. Perhaps people will spend more time at home with their families too, thus indirectly improving the quality of life.
