532. Long Live the King!

Well, that's what it read on the papers anyway. They give away Datukships, have sumptuous feasts and I get a holiday! What's there not to like eh? ;)

Had a feast of our own to celebrate the King's b'day, so met up at the seafood place near Jimbo's place. It's supposedly very famous as the local papers actually recommended the place. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, it wasn't all dat great. Was suppose to meet up with Zack & Ad, but kena ppk by them. What else is new. Anyway, good thing I didn't cancel my plans. So went over to Jimbo's place for some cathing up. End up havin a few rounds of Hold'em. I gotta remind meself not to get away again. :P

Nicholas' wife just gave birth to a healthy baby boy! The overjoyed father smsed me at 5 in the morning. :) Congrats Nic!

I was contemplating if I shud mention this on my blog! Well, I figured I'll tell all :P So here goes! I actually went for facial at a beauty center. I gotta say, it's much nicer than squeezing my own pimples. Heh heh. Anyway, they attached a gizmo that jiggles my lymph nodes. Then my arm. I have no idea wat they do actually. I shall ask them during my next apointment. Ha ha. I've entered phase II of me metrosexual transformation. :P Yikes, wat's next? Perhaps attend make up classes? Cross stiching? Buy a hairdresser's car like the Audi TT? God forbid! A VW Bettle? :P

This is wat happens after one goes for a facial; The products I'm suppose to put on me face every other nite, or was dat twice everyday :P

Attended a wedding dinner over the weekend too. It was a small & warm reception. Too bad it rained a bit so we had to move indoors. It would have been lovely if we stayed out in the garden.

Anyway, on Monday, went for a massage at Tanjung Bungah. I heard good things about the place & at RM20/hour, it's a bargain. When I arrived at the place, it was nice. The ambience was very spa like. But that's where the pleasantries end. All the masseuse were basically indonesian maids. And worse, the one I got had an attitude and NO skills! Halfway thru, I left. It was an awful & painful experience. The friends dat went with me had an OK time though, apart from the fact dat the maids were asking for tips. Claiming dat their boss insists they ask for tips. Wat a bloody rip off.

After dat it's off to watch Pirates again. This time, armed with the knowledge of wat happened in the prequels, I enjoyed the movie more. No 3rd time though. :P
