119. Amateur Astronomy nite
Today was a slow day and it ended like dat. After dinner, basically took a nap. When I woke up, it was about 10ish and there was nothing to do. Saw that the moon is bright, so decided to whip out the telescope (which I got as a present from Raine) and see if i can see the details of its surface. Also received a present from Seng from his China trip :) so ended the day quietly too. Just unwinding infront of the idiot box watching CSI: Miami.

My Random Thots:
Forgot that my digital camera has 2X optical zoom. That would effectively boost my telescope's magnification to 60X. Wonder if that's powerful enough to see the moon's surface. Will try it tomorrow nite.
